Our division at the head office in Vika, Falun needs to grow and therefore we are now looking for driven engineers to be able to continue to offer the most competitive coupler products for trains on the market.

Job description

As a mechanical design engineer at Dellner Couplers, you work primarily with detail and system design, requirements management and communication. You are responsible for developing mechanical designs on Dellner's various coupler products. You often get involved in everything from quotation work to assembly of the final product. The role involves the opportunity to be part of the product's entire life cycle, from design to manufacturing and maintenance, with a proximity to both physical products as well as internal and external contacts. The tasks are varied and can be adapted to your ability and interest within the department.

Some travelling might occur to meet customers and inspect and evaluate our products. 

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a background from the engineering profession or who have a university or civil engineering education. You are flexible, focused and take your own initiatives to achieve your own and the business's goals. You express yourself well in speech and writing, especially in the group language English, but other languages are meritorious. If you have previously worked with castings and forgings, this is also a merit. 

You are a team player who is happy to share experiences and knowledge with others. You always put the customer in focus, organize and structure your own work while supporting others to achieve the goals. You are continuously looking for development for yourself in the role you are in to become better.
