About the role as Quality Engineer - Electrical

As a Quality Engineer - Electrical, you will take on a vital role within our clients Product Quality department. This team of 16 specialists, including both employees and consultants, is known for its deep expertise in pressurized systems, pipes, welding, and electrical installations. Your primary responsibilities will be focused on turbine deliveries, ensuring compliance with Ex/ATEX standards.

You will:

• Review contracts to identify local regulations for Ex equipment and document them accordingly.
• Compile and review Ex lists, ensuring that all components meet classification and certification standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, which will require travel to turbine installation sites, ensuring electrical installations comply with company and customer standards regarding Ex.
• Document and report deviations found during inspections.
• Support the sales organization with expertise on Ex requirements.
• Prepare compliance reports related to the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) for CE marking of control cabinets.

Requirements

We believe you are a structured and detail-oriented individual with a solid background in electrical engineering or equivalent. You have:

• Proven experience in reading and interpreting contracts.
• Experience in quality assurance, particularly in electrical installations.
• Either an electrical engineering degree or extensive experience working with electrical installations.
• Knowledge of ATEX and LVD regulations is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with IEC Ex is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Swedish is preferred.
