System Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day

Your day as an engineer within the team working with design of lube oil and auxiliary systems is very focus around the technical challenges to meet our customers’ expectations. Our daily work is based on team cooperation both as a part of a project team working with the customer solution and with the technical teams that hold the competence regarding lube & and auxiliary system.

In the project work you would be responsible for the design solution of the lube oil and auxiliary systems, this will entail to make sure that the project lead has all relevant information for the dialog with our customer, that all information needed about the design is communicated to other engineers within the team and that our suppliers have the information they need to produce units to our specification.

In the work within the technical team, you are responsible to share and collect information from your colleagues in order engineering but also with the engineers working with development and standard. This technical team is also responsible to support assembly and site if questions or errors occur and to continuously work with improvement of our product.

About the Team

Your team is responsible for the technical area of lube oil and auxiliary systems which consists of engineers located in Sweden, India, Estonia & US. It is a team of about 10-15 engineers, both employees and partners. It is a team that helps each other out when needed, supports both the team itself and interfaces in the organization.

You will also join the larger team including all of us at engineering of MGT because we work in close cooperation with our colleagues that focus on installation, electrical and control. Together we execute the projects with focus on achieving the best possible solution for customer and company.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
