Project Manager 

A Snapshot of Your Day

Siemens Energy is successful in manufacturing and installing gas turbines all around the world. Now we need to increase our department with more Project Managers in three different teams and are looking for you who are eager to contribute to the energy transformation!

As a Project Manager your day will be filled with dynamic and impactful activities. You will be at the forefront of ambitious projects, managing a diverse team of 10-15 members from various fields, such as commercial project managers, project lead engineers, purchasers etc. In the role you will lead and coordinate multiple projects globally, ensuring the execution of the project while encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead and coordinate the execution of projects in line with contracts, budgets, and Siemens Energy’s requirements
• Assemble and manage the project team, acting as an entrepreneurial leader.
• Serve as the face of the company towards our customers, maintaining a close and productive dialogue.
• Ensure Zero Harm principles are embedded in all aspects of project execution.
• Successfully implement project strategies that align with our dedication to decarbonization and innovation.
• Monitor project progress and report to both local and regional management, ensuring transparency and accountability.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in leading project teams with a strong sense of responsibility
• Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptable, even under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and extensive experience in communicating in English, both verbally and in writing
• Strong coordination skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple fields.
• Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes.

About the team

We are growing and looking for more project managers in our Project Management department. You will either be part of the team working with gas turbine projects in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), projects in APAC (Asia-Pacific) or projects within Extended Scope. Your project manager colleagues are located both in Sweden and internationally, and you will work closely with the members of your own project team from different fields. Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
