Company presentation For our customer Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for a Turbine Heat Transfer Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång.

Initially, this is a consultancy assignment for 6 months through Unik Resurs, with a strong possibility of extension. We apply continuous selection, which means the position may be filled before the final application date.

Responsibilities As part of the team responsible for turbine cooling, aerodynamics, and secondary air systems, you’ll experience a technically challenging and rewarding workday. You’ll collaborate with experts across disciplines and contribute to both product innovation and operational excellence.

Main responsibilities include:

• Performing calculations and thermal analyses of turbine components using both in-house and commercial CFD tools
• Providing expert support on heat transfer and flow technology issues
• Contributing to planning and evaluating gas turbine and lab tests
• Participating in R&D projects, conducting root cause analyses and leading technical investigations
• Developing, maintaining, and programming in-house calculation tools

Your profile University degree in mechanical engineering, energy engineering or a similar field (PhD is a plus but not required)

Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer, with a solid theoretical foundation

Eagerness to continuously develop your skills in heat transfer and related areas Structured approach to problem-solving and project work

Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Additional Information Due to export control regulations, EU citizenship or permanent residence in the EU is required.

On-site presence in Finspång is expected at least 3 days per week.
