Service Engineering and Information Management is a team within Service Market Technology at Volvo Buses. We work together to ensure the workshop mechanics have the right standard times and information to perform repairs and service on our buses.

This is the role

As a Service Engineer you will participate in product development projects at Volvo buses, ensuring the right repair methods and standard times are produced at the right time. In cooperation with colleagues within and outside the department you enable bus workshop technicians to perform their work in a predictable, safe and efficient manner. We believe that you enjoy taking responsibility and have a positive and supporting mindset as well as great communication skills. Together with your colleagues you will be able to develop our way of working and current deliveries as well as our service market solutions of tomorrow.

This is you

• You are an experienced workshop technician with knowledge in virtual tools such as CATIA.

• You are interested in the tools needed for the repair methods and are able to create new special tools when needed.

• You have previous knowledge of Volvo Group systems and processes.

• You are able to analyze new projects and products to identify the scope of your deliveries.

• You have great people and communication skills and an ability to work cross functionally and build relations.
