What you will do

 In this role, you will be responsible for leading the transport effectiveness customer feature area. Your main tasks include defining requirements and verification methods, translating product targets into quantifiable requirements, creating verification and validation plans, and driving feature development across the organization. You will also secure, maintain, and develop feature knowledge over time for different brands, segments, markets, and applications. Additionally, you will synchronize the feature between projects and ensure accurate translation of customer usage and requirements by continuously updating test methods and design requirements.

You will contribute to feature development plans, provide input to feature roadmaps, and manage networks within the organization or globally within the feature domain. Additionally, you will participate in business development and innovation. Testing is a strategic area within Complete Vehicle, with extensive development and substantial challenges expected in the next five years.

Your background

M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or equivalent professional experience. You have at least 5 years of working experience in vehicle dynamics as an engineer or as feature engineer or as test engineer. Furthermore, you have:

• Good understanding of transport effectiveness customer feature
• Good knowledge of truck application and customer usage.
• Knowledge about agile way of working
• A holistic view, strong communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. 
• Proactiveness, flexibility, and a strong motivation to learn. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Additionally, having a C/CE License would be considered a plus.
