We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with a solid background in electronics, and ideally, specific experience in wiring harness systems. This role requires an individual who is not only technically proficient but also a true team player—someone who brings energy and positivity to the team, helping to drive collaborative success.

Position Duration: 6 months, with a strong potential for extension based on performance and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

As an SQE, you will play an essential role in evaluating and supporting Volvo’s suppliers to ensure their capabilities align with our quality standards. Your role will include:

• Evaluating Supplier Capability: Assess suppliers’ potential in various aspects to determine if they meet Volvo's standards. This requires a thorough understanding of critical production technologies and quality standards, especially in electronic components.

• Providing Specialized Expertise: Supporting Supply Quality Engineers and other stakeholders by applying deep knowledge of specific production technologies to evaluate suppliers’ ability to deliver quality products.

• Project Leadership: Managing large, complex projects or processes end-to-end with minimal oversight, while maintaining a proactive approach in troubleshooting and resolving challenging issues.

• Coaching and Mentoring: Guiding and reviewing the work of junior team members, helping to develop skills within the team.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with advanced experience in Supplier Quality, ideally with expertise in electronics and wiring harnesses. Education and work experience in electrical, mechanical, software engineering, or other relevant fields is expected. A specialist-level understanding of supplier quality areas, including electrical and surface treatment, is highly desirable.
