What we do - And why!

FEV Sverige AB is a member of the FEV Group and has been active on the Scandinavian market since 2006. With more than 7000 employees worldwide, we develop revolutionary and efficient drive systems as well as solutions for energy storage.

In short, FEV can develop a complete vehicle from concept to production. FEV Sweden represent the competencies of the FEV Group on the northern European market and ensure that our Scandinavian customers have local access to the global competence of FEV.

Tasks

- You will work on system and mechanical component design in areas such as shafts, gears, clutches, park-lock, disconnect units, housings, mechanical parts of e-motors, inverters, batteries, etc.

- You will propose and deliver engineering solutions to challenges in accordance with cost, customer specifications, quality, and safety requirements

- You will act as a liaison to our international customers

- You will prepare and lead project meetings with the end-customer

- You will serve as an experienced design engineer who can support and lead design teams

Qualifications

- You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

- You have 7+ years experience in a leading role within mechanical engineering

- Experience of integration of system to vehicle

- You have previous experience or interest in the mechanical design of e-drive components and systems

- You have experience or interest in the following programs: CREO, Windchill, Kola

- You are eager to develop further within technical fields that the market requires and are open-minded towards alternative technical developments

- You are highly motivated to support the commercial development of FEV on the Scandinavian market by sharing ideas and suggesting improvements

- Experience heavy duty trucks development is meritorious

- Fluent in English is mandatory

- Swedish language and driving license B are meritorious
