About the position

Perido are looking for an engineer to join our client’s team with support test cell operations. As a test cell engineer, you will play a key role in providing engineers with critical data that validates the quality and performance of our products, ensuring they remain world-class. This position is placed in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

In this position, you will work closely with test engineers to prepare and connect test objects in the test cells. You will be responsible for programming and operating the automation system. To succeed in this role, collaboration is essential—you will work with both the workshop, where mechanical experts prepare the test objects, and the test engineers, who define the required conditions for each test. With a wide range of testbeds at disposal, you will have the opportunity to work with different automation systems, gaining valuable experience in diverse testing environments.

You will be part of a dedicated and close-knit team that values collaboration and mutual support. Working alongside highly skilled colleagues in a dynamic, global environment, you will have opportunities for both professional and personal growth.

Your characteristics

To thrive in this role, we believe you have an analytical mindset and a positive attitude. You are passionate about problem-solving and driven to help meet the demanding requirements set by our test engineers. Experience in programming is essential, and knowledge of Puma programming is a significant advantage. You should also have a strong understanding of automation systems, including control logic and related challenges. Your ability to quickly grasp the technical scope of a project and adapt to new technologies will be key to your success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in Swedish and English
