Job Summary

We are part of Aftermarket Technology (AMT), Complete Vehicle, located in Gothenburg, and we are seeking a key player to lead our Powertrain Maintainability Engineering Team. This team is composed of highly skilled Maintainability Engineers. 

In collaboration with the Aftermarket community, you will help build a strong team that maximizes the aftermarket perspective in product development and secures the future of our aftermarket business. Your primary focus will be to deliver our vision for the future and ensure our products remain competitive in the market. 

In this role, you will also lead the change journey for our new way of working, both within AMT and with our closest stakeholders. Additionally, you will take on a global role in leading and building knowledge in maintainability areas at AMT, always with a mindset of continuous improvement. 

This is how you could make an impact

Your mission is to lead the Aftermarket Technology Maintainability Engineering : Vehicle team, ensuring the delivery of trucks that are easy to maintain, diagnose, and repair. You will achieve this by influencing new product development and utilizing cross-functional strategies throughout the development phases. 

You will be responsible for the Heavy Duty Product Range, ensuring its competitiveness in the market with regard to maintainability and vehicle-related services. 

As a member of the Aftermarket Technology site Gothenburg management team, you will actively participate in the Maintainability Committee, Technology Area Meetings, and the AMT Reference Group. 

We believe you possess excellent people skills and have a strong ability to inspire, develop, and motivate individuals and teams. To succeed in this position, it is crucial to have a strong customer focus and a drive for results. 

Who are you?

We are looking for you who holds a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering together with experience in Product development or Project Management.

For you to really enjoy this position we also think you have the following interests and experiences: 

• Previous management experience with direct supervisory responsibilities. 
• Background in the automotive aftermarket domain. 
• Experience working in a continental or global, cross-functional organization with numerous stakeholders. 
• Expertise in vehicle development, product knowledge, and platform development. 
• Understanding of the overall aftermarket business fundamentals, including customer needs and key players in the transportation industry. 
• At least 5 years of experience in technology development within the automotive industry. 
• Strong understanding of aftermarket technology products.
