Join Our Team as Engineer, Process Engineering and Drive Customer Success in Pulp & Energy Industry

Are you passionate about technology and dedicated to enhancing our customers' performance? Do you want to be an integral part of our dynamic Process Engineering team? If you answered 'yes,' then we have an exciting opportunity for you within our ambitious and expertise-driven company.

We are now looking for a Engineer, Process Engineering to strengthen our team of professionals in Pulp & Energy Business Unit’s Project Execution organization. Currently all team members are located in Finland, but with this recruitment we are looking forward to expanding our team to Sweden. You will now have a unique opportunity to participate in ramping up the Swedish process engineering team. You can be based in any of the three Swedish locations Gothenburg, Sundsvall or Karlstad.

As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in Pulp & Energy delivery projects and be responsible for various process engineering tasks. You will collaborate closely with Valmet’s project team, suppliers and the customer.

Key responsibilities include:

-Drawing and managing P&I diagrams and process lists

-Design of processes related to e.g. water, steam and fuel systems

-Specification of piping requirements and pipe dimensioning

-Providing initial data for other disciplines, primarily piping and E&I engineering

-Collaboration in equipment dimensioning

-Participation in HAZOP sessions

-Preparation of technical purchase material for piping components and contribution to the procurement process

-Engagement with customers, external partners, and subcontractors

-Providing technical support and flow diagrams for commissioning and sales projects

Requirements

-Technical engineering education, preferably in thermal or process engineering

-Previous experience in a similar position within the industry

-Proficiency in using industrial engineering tools

-Good communication skills and a result-oriented and customer-focused mindset

-Systematic approach to problem-solving

-Willingness to travel occasionally

-Fluency in English (Swedish or Finnish are a plus)

-Knowledge of Comos or other P&ID engineering database
