Responsibilities Join us as a Lead Engineer Requirement Handling where you'll play a crucial role in our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be a key person in developing cutting-edge electric drive units collaborating closely with our global InfiMotion team, customers and suppliers. You are expected to ensure fulfilment of our product development goals and their alignment with project goals. This includes documenting, reviewing, and prioritizing requirements to guide the engineering team regarding current and approved requirements. Tasks will include:

• Investigating project needs and documenting technical requirements

• Researching, developing, and communicating requirements for projects

• Ensuring that the project is meeting customer’s needs

• Driving on-point communication to ensure everyone understands the requirements

• Conducting routine investigations to make sure that requirements are met

• Having the required technical- and project management skills to stay on top of the job

• Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, supporting both software and hardware development for electric drive units

• Engage in customer and supplier meetings, providing technical expertise and otherinsights while understanding the business impact

• Collaborate closely with colleagues in China and interact with our European customers.

We are looking for Someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in product development and requirements handling, with a preference for automotive experience. We believe that you have a MSc within mechanical or electrical engineering, engineering physics or similar.

To succeed in the role you have documented expertise in requirements handling systems e.g. DOORS, Codebeamer, Systemweaver etc.

As a person you are excellent with details and a real problem solver. In parallel you are a great relationship builder that listens in an build trust and can naturally take on a leadership role when needed. We take it for granted that you are self-motivated enough to take ownership and drive your area with proactiveness and successful completion.

Collaboration is key for us so you are a true team player with strong communication skills. You are fluent in English and if you have a knowledge of Mandarin Chinese, Swedish or German it is a plus. Our Office; The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.

For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.

If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.
