What you will do

As a Software Function Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing functional solutions on a high level for our electric vehicle systems. You will work closely with our engineering teams to design and test software systems that enable the functionality of our electric vehicles.

Key responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement functional software solutions on a high level for electric vehicle systems together with the team 
• Work in a cross functional team, close together with systems teams to ensure software and system requirements are state of the art  
• Collaborate closely to ensure that the software systems for electric vehicle functionality meets the high requirement from our end customer    
• Work with internal and external requirements and ensure deliverables meet expectations  

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electric vehicle technology.Your future team

Our team is part of the Electromobility Management Department, working closely with other teams both inside and outside our function. We focus on thermal control, power management, and making sure the electrical system runs smoothly—key areas for reliable and efficient electromobility. We believe in teamwork, technology, and innovation, and we make sure to have fun along the way!

Who are you?

We are looking for a driven and experienced engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of the automotive and electromobility industry. To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:

• MSc degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software function development in the automotive or electromobility industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of automotive systems and customer expectations for electric vehicles
• Knowledge of industry-standard tools and development methods such as Matlab/Targetlink, GIT, CANalyzer, and Vision
• Programming skills in one or more languages, such as C or Python, are a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Experience working in an international team
