Responsibilities As a Test engineer you will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test plans to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of automotive software systems. This role involves collaborating with development teams to define testing requirements, identify defects, and validate software functionalities under various conditions. You will employ advanced testing tools and methodologies to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering robust and high-quality software solutions for automotive embedded systems that are ready to meet the future.

What will you be doing?

In the role as a test engineer your main tasks will include:

- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Set up and configure test environments to replicate real-world conditions. - Identify, track, and prioritize software defects using defect tracking tools. - Conduct performance, stress, and scalability testing to validate software reliability. - Conduct root-cause analysis for defects and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence. - Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements for validation and compliance purposes.

Required skills: - Experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Hands-on experience in developing automated test scripts.

- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing in Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.

- Ability to design and implement test frameworks.

- Ability to create detailed and structured bug reports and communicate issues effectively with developers.

- Ability to write detailed, accurate, and clear test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

- Knowledge of UDS protocols, CAN, XCP, ETK, ISO 26262 and IOS 21434.

We are looking for Someone with passion for test driven SW Development. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience as SW Tester, preferably in the automotive or electric driveline sector. We believe that you have a bachelors degree in Computer Science or another related field.

To be successful in the role you have strong knowledge of coding, including Python, You are excellent with details and a real problem solver.

As a person you have strong communications skills and enjoy working cross functional in a global environment. You are fluent in English, orally and written. Collaboration is key for us so you are a true team player. Our Office The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.

For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.

If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.
