The role

The role of Head of Additive Manufacturing (AM) Strategy is responsible for leading and coordinating strategic transformation initiatives regarding AM within the Saab business area Aeronautics. You will work on direct assignment from the executive leadership of Business Area Aeronautics to develop strategies and set priorities as well as work with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives and track progress. The role is organized within the Strategy department area Innovation and Technology.

The job responsibilities for the role may vary over time, however the main responsibility is to own and develop the strategy for the transformation regarding AM within the business area and secure alignment between BUs. You have an important role to facilitate dialogue with BUs to set goals, drive initiatives and change, and ensure coordination across the business areas. Your role also includes developing roadmaps, managing budgets, partnership and vendor relations, communication plans and stakeholder alignment.

By tracking development within industry, academia, competitors and partners, you ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of AM advancements.

Your role

We are looking for a collaborative and strategic leader with a passion for innovation and transformation. As Head of AM Strategy you possess a performance driven mind-set with a "can-do" attitude along with high confidence in making change happen. You have the ability to take initiatives based on our long-term goals and strategy and can do so in a structured and organized way. The person is self-driven with perseverance and posses the ability to generate energy.

Required skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant field, with a track record of driving change
• Proven leadership experience, with a ability to inspirare, engage and motivate others
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written

Desired skills

• University degree in the relevant area or similar experience
• Experience from large transformation journeys
• Good diplomatic and relationship-building skills, that enables you to navigate complex environments

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
