Engineering Consultants to Akkodis!

Location: Ludvika, Sweden

Start: Immediately

We are looking for engineering consultants for assignments in Ludvika with one of our key customers in the energy sector, specializing in energy infrastructure, high-voltage equipment, and grid integration solutions. If you have expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronics engineering, or project management, this could be your next exciting opportunity.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Assignments vary based on expertise and may include:

• Mechanical Engineering – Design of high-voltage equipment, structural analysis, CAD modeling, failure analysis, and manufacturing optimization.
• Electrical Engineering – Development of power transmission systems, relay protection, SCADA integration, fault analysis, and compliance with IEC/IEEE standards.
• Electronics Engineering – PCB design, embedded systems, sensor development, real-time control, and EMC/EMI testing.
• Project Management – Leading engineering projects, resource planning, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
• Control & Automation Engineering – Development of control systems, PLC/SCADA programming, grid automation, and real-time control for power converters.
• Power Systems Engineering – Power system modeling, relay protection, grid integration, and compliance with industry standards.
• Embedded Systems & Software Engineering – Firmware and embedded software development, IoT solutions, cybersecurity, and real-time system programming.
• Test & Validation Engineering – Functional and high-voltage testing, automated test systems, reliability testing, and industry compliance validation.

Who You Are

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Power Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in design, development, testing, or project management
• Familiarity with industry tools (CAD, MATLAB, PLC programming, etc.)
• Experience in power transmission, transformers, substations, or FACTS is highly meritorious
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)
• Able to be in Ludvika 100%
• Have valid work permit
