In this role, you will be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, from development to maintenance, with the chance to improve and refine our existing solutions. You will take on a key position where your expertise in mechanics and electronics, will drive the advancement of our cutting-edge products. Furthermore, you’ll take on a key position in product maintenance and development of our laser-based sensors and measurement instruments, working with system integrations, testing, closely collaborating with both production team and sales. Your role also involves supporting customers, working with pilot clients, verification and troubleshooting, ensuring that different customer needs are met. Key work tasks include:

• Technical development of our measurement instrument portfolio, with a deep understanding from customer needs to final product.
• Collaboration across disciplines to achieve project goals.
• On-site integration projects and customizations for customers.
• Hands-on involvement in mechanical, electronics, optics, and software development, testing, and application creation.
• Developing specifications, design descriptions, and reporting.
• Product development for small batch production from prototype to mid-series, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

YOU ARE

We are looking for an engineer with a strong passion for mechanics, electronics, and product development. You should have previous industrial experience and have worked with both product development and maintenance. Experience in improving and refining products is essential, and you should feel comfortable working in a smaller company where flexibility and adaptability are key. It’s also a plus if you’ve gained experience in various industries.

You hold an academic degree in mechanical or electronics engineering (or a similar field) and have strong technical competence in product development, system design, and mechanical and electronic engineering. You enjoy working hands-on with components and hardware, as well as integrating software or PLC systems at customer sites.

We are looking for someone with a strong hands-on aptitude and problem-solving skills. You should have a solid technical understanding, take ownership of your work, and be committed to delivering high-quality results. Curiosity and a willingness to learn and adapt are essential, as is a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.

In addition to technical expertise, we value team players who communicate effectively and collaborate well with both colleagues and customers. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

ABOUT GASPOROX

Gasporox is a Lund-based company that produces and sell gas sensors for quality control of packaging in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage markets. The company uses a world-unique and patented laser technology. Unlike competitors that have destructive test methods, Gasporox delivers products for non-destructive quality control of gas-packed packaging that are also directly integrated into the production line. The product portfolio consists of the sensor series such as GasSpect and VialArch as well as complete measurement systems within the GPX-series. Gasporox's customers are production line manufacturers and inspection system manufacturers for packaging lines for food and pharmaceuticals. These customers integrate Gasporox's solution and can thus in turn offer their customers continuous quality inspection systems that are both automatic and non-destructive.
