EES are establishing a new organization to take care of our connectivity and digital products using data from our assets. We need a product owner for EES applications that will deliver customer value using data from connected assets.

Our team

The fleet of connected assets (batteries, chargers, energy storage systems etc.) is global, and several platforms and technologies are used to make sure that our assets get connected, that data is being transferred and stored, and that the correct data is made available - All in a secure way. 

Your mission

As part of the Product Owner role, you will have the ownership of a set of applications that serves our customers with functionality and information related to electrification. You will prioritize and organize the product backlog to be in line with stakeholder vision and goals. As part of an agile organization, you will work closely with development teams to answer questions regarding requirements, needs, clarifications, etc. You will ensure that the teams have clarity on the product requirements and user expectations, including acceptance criteria and you will evaluate the work done by the development team and provide constant feedback. You will in time be an expert in the organization when it comes to the applications of your ownership, and you will be able to support internal stakeholders when more technical depth is needed. As part of the Product Owner role, you will establish the required documentation and information packages needed to explain the product to different types of stakeholders.

Location and other

This position is in Örebro, Sweden and occasional travel is required.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to understand and translate business needs into more technical requirements, and you will the link between Product Managers and the development teams. We believe that you have a university degree in engineering and/or a few years of solid work experience from a similar position or have a history in programming. We see great value if you also have experience of dealing with connected services, API´s and applications. An understanding of R&D, software development, how to deliver digital products and services is important. Domain knowledge from machines, telematics and connected services is very important.

As a person you are organized, and you can visualize goals and make plans to get there. Your communication skills are very important since you will be working in an international arena with colleagues globally spread, and you will often be called in as Subject Matter Expert of your area. You are responsible and honest and are comfortable with challenging others with difficult questions to get to the point of a challenge. It is an advantage if you have experience from working with software development and especially integration technologies. The ability to take ownership in an efficient way, make daily priorities, and focus on delivering value is of highest importance. Engineer with relevant university degree for the position. Several years of previous experience within telematics, IoT, machines and automotive.

The candidate shall be able to take a clear ownership for digital products and be able to drive the development of solutions and final implementations. The candidate needs to be able to embrace change and be open to changes. Motivated by coaching and leading others towards the goals.
