If so, we have an exciting job opportunity for you! We are currently seeking several Project Assurance Manager and Planner to join Electromobility at Group Trucks Technology.

The Electromobility Function: 

Electromobility is changing the automotive world, and we are now looking for you who want to be part of making this change in our industry! The Electromobility organization is a vital part of the Volvo group's ambitions to meet zero emission by 2040. The Electromobility organization is responsible for the development of our electric powertrains – from advanced engineering through product development into the maintenance phase. The function has a purpose-driven leadership and together we drive Electromobility transition based on cutting-edge engineering and state-of-the-art research. By joining us, you will be part of a global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals. 

The Project Assurance Manager and Planner is a combined role. The role is central in the project organization, acting as the main support to the chief project manager.  In this position you will be responsible for project assurance plan, time planning, securing deliveries, take leadership and facilitate taskforces. Administration work as keeping order in the project and project meetings are important parts of the work.

Who are You? 

We are seeking an established Project Assurance Manager and Planner with proven experience. You build on structure, planning, and proactive actions to secure project deliveries. Knowledge of complex development projects, and from the Automotive sector are needed.  Electromobility knowledge is seen as a plus.

Your mission in this job:

Your mission is to be an important part of complex development Electromobility projects from pre studies up to industrialization and launch of a successful product.

To be able to do this you need to:

• Experience in project assurance management and time plan work.
• Assume leadership for assigned work.
• Possess understanding of development projects, Experience from Electromobility is an advantage. 
• Work for team spirit in the project management team. 
• Be able to engage others and work cross functional.
• Work proactively to secure delivery.

What to bring: 

• Project Assurance and time plan skills.
• Communication skills using IT (Information Technology).
• Keen on keeping order in projects.
• Possesses strong personal drive to accomplish and deliver results.
• Excellent collaboration skills across the entire value chain.
• Engineering background and education is a plus.
