What you will do

As a Quality Solution Leader, you will ensure VBC’s customers and VBC´s financial interest by identifying and prioritizing what quality Issues to be resolved. You are also responsible to communicate with stakeholders in regard to resolution of Quality Issues.

Chassis & Driveline Quality is part of the Customer Quality Experience (CQE) organization, we are a team of Design & Test Engineers as well as Project Managements roles, all with a common goal to provide solutions that improve the uptime of our products and contribute to a great ownership experience for our customers.

We have a strong technical focus and love to discuss and find creative solutions as a team. Challenges gives us energy; we have trust in each other and value everyone’s perspective. In other words, we have fun at work!

Who are you?

The cross-functional team you'll be a part of involves managing and coordinating complex interactions of processes and sometimes conflicting incentives & targets. You have a passion for structure, a keen analytical mind, and the ability to recognize when flexibility and individual thinking are essential for success. Here you will have a chance to apply your skills not only in operational cases but also in shaping the preferred way of working within your team.

To be successful we think you also have a:

• Some technical background / experience: Mechanical design and or systems engineering.
• Project Management experience
• Holistic view and ability to work cross functionally and build strong relations
• University Degree in Engineering or recognized equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic knowledge in Volvo systems, for example KOLA
• Technical and data analysis interest
• Structured way of working and follow processes, but always challenge them if they are not efficient
• High integrity, instill trust, build effective teams, and have the ability to follow through
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Aftermarket experience is a plus
