We are currently seeking two Group Managers for project managers engineering to join Electromobility at Group Trucks Technology.

The Electromobility organization

Responsibilities

As a Group Manager of the Project Management Engineering team, you will lead and further develop a skilled team consisting of dedicated and passionate project managers.

The team is responsible for leading and delivering electromobility product projects with a quality perspective as target, closely connected to the technology groups that will ensure we have the leading technology in the market.

As a person you are open, positive, and like to lead technology and people, you have the skills to identify people´s talents and mentor them to achieve their full potential. With us, you need to be a team player and an accessible leader, that focuses on individual development, forming a high performing team. You like improving processes and developing new ways of working.

To be able to fully enjoy this position you should be ambitious, energetic and a communicative leader with an entrepreneurial mind-set creating strong business relations. Since the area is in an early phase, it is important that you are flexible and enjoy working in a changing environment.

You have experience from automotive electrical and/or electronic design, preferably as a complete system delivery for electromobility products. You have experience from working in larger companies with stakeholder management. Deep understanding of end-to-end product life cycle and industrialization, from concept to maintenance/ aftermarket

Requirements

• MSc degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum ten years of experience within product development.
• At least five years of managerial experience within automotive industry
• Experience in project management, driving large and complex technology projects, from concept to industrialization.

Volvo Group experience and knowledge of the products and their different applications is meritorious. You have a positive attitude and are engaging and inspiring- to drive for results and excellence in teams. As a confident leader you believe in your ability to influence a positive outcome. You look for opportunities and welcome new ways of working. Passionate and curious about networking across all functions/ countries to drive for best possible results. Persistent when encountering obstacles as well as flexible with a prestige less mindset.
