Would you like to be part of our global expansion and drive future growth? LEAX Quality AB is looking for a new Simulation Engineer with expertise in propeller shafts and experience with gearbox components.

We are looking for you to join our R&D team and work in an international and dynamic environment. To succeed as a Simulation Engineer at LEAX, you must combine commitment and flexibility as the requirements and conditions can change rapidly. Communication and collaboration internally as well as externally are very important.

Main Job Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D models using Finite Element Modeling (FEM)
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Generate detailed analysis reports
• Optimize component geometry by balancing mass reduction, required stiffness, stress levels, and durability in collaboration with Design Engineers to meet project targets
• Interact with the testing department to correlate simulations with real-world investigations

Profile and Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s degree in Structural Analysis or a related field (desired)

Required Experience

• Expert user of Siemens Simcenter software for CAE, focusing on Structural Analysis (Stress Analysis), Durability Simulation, and Fatigue Analysis

Desired Experience

• Experience with YaPlm system
• Competence in Microsoft Office
