We are looking to expand our team responsible for our independent hotels’ solutions with a web developer - a person who’s not afraid to add goals and tools for innovation. With a diverse team of engaged people, you’ll create the best possible experience for digital customers in an industry based on relaxation and well-being.

What you will be doing

In this role, you get to enjoy a healthy dose of challenge when building scalable applications supporting customers' digital journeys.

You will be primarily responsible for maintaining and shaping the future of independent Strawberry hotels booking engine (current tasks are heavily front-end oriented, but in the long term we’ll need your fullstack expertise as well).

Additionally we hope you’d be willing to help our Tech Lead support web developers across our product teams, take ownership of DevOps or DevX tooling improvements, lead architectural decisions and contribute to ways of working, processes & team composition.

As a lead you’ll be tasked with finding a balance between the needs of hotels and those of their online guests and provide technical expertise to help the team shape the future development.

You’ll be involved in discussions with vendors and internal stakeholders as well as hands on work.

Who we think you are

We believe that you are a passionate and experienced full stack developer, enjoy modern JavaScript and TypeScript, have had professional experience with at least two of Preact/React, VueJS or Angular and are comfortable working with them.

We think you have participated in a lot of various projects and don’t limit yourself to just one tool, language or paradigm and have professional experience in fullstack web development with NodeJS. You are familiar with cloud providers and basic DevOps, worked with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB or similar) and either know or willing to learn .NET.

You enjoy mentoring and supporting others and relentlessly search for ways to make both customer and developer experience smoother.
