About the RoleAs an electronics designer with us, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative solutions for optical communication modules, with a primary focus on electronics design and verification. You will work through the entire development cycle, from concept phase to product launch. Your tasks will include schematic design, updating component databases, creating symbols, verification work, documentation, and report writing. You will collaborate closely with specialists in various disciplines such as electronics, mechanics, optics, and manufacturing. You will work with electronics designers and other technical experts to ensure the highest quality of our products. Throughout the projects, you will: •Work with the hardware architect on: Tasks such as schematic design, component database updates, symbol creation, verification work, documentation, and report writing. •Engage in the concept phase: Develop high-level technical implementation concepts, assist in creating rough initial designs, and estimate key performance parameters. •During the planning phase: Select key components and begin schematic design work. •In the design phase: Produce complete schematics using Cadence design tools and iteratively help develop the PCB layout. •Bring-up phase involves: Intensive lab work, using various HW lab instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, optical spectrum analyzers, BER instruments), and performing design verification tests We are Looking for Someone with•A Master’s degree in electronics, engineering physics, or similar •Proficiency in English •Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise •Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing start-up environment It is an Advantage if You Have•Experience working in a lab environment •A thesis that includes lab/electronics design •Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written •Taken courses on fiber optics and/or network design​ •A technical hobby in your spare time •Experience working in telecom You are Offered•An exciting journey with a newly established R&D company in Sweden •The opportunity to help shape the future of optical communication solutions •A high level of expertise and the chance to learn from the best •A dynamic work environment where things happen quickly and you get to do a lot About Our ClientOur client is an innovative start-up company in optical communication solutions.
