At Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions we’re now looking for a motivated CAE Engineer for our Technology Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join us in an innovative position, where you have the possibility to develop both our products, methods and your own skills and network.

Shortly about us

We’re a world leading developer of equipment, tools, service and technical solutions that covers crushing, screening, breaking and demolition. Our Division Crushing Solutions in Svedala is a global development center for crushers.

Your mission

In this position, you optimize product designs, perform simulations, and ensure our products meet the highest standards. You conduct simulations and analyses to predict product behavior under various conditions, optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability using CAE tools, and create detailed models of products or systems. The functionality you develop is used to design, optimize and improve our machine systems. Daily cross functional collaboration with different stakeholders and other departments to ensure designs are feasible and meet requirements is also a key part of the role.

The location for this position is Svedala and we offer you a hybrid work solution.

About you

We’re looking for someone with a Master of Science in Physics, Mathematics or Mechanical Engineering. Working with different cultures cross functionally, with both internal and external stakeholders, your good communication skills really come in handy. You enjoy working with new technology and take part in continuously improving our ways of working. With your team player spirit, you contribute to great collaboration and an including way of working. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent English skills, verbally and in writing.

We see it as beneficial if you also have experience from:

• Development of simulation models in different physical domains.
• Simulation model verification and validation.
• Rock processing or similar physical processes.
• Algorithm development and coding.
• Testing.
