About the Role

As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-quality circuit board designs that meet stringent performance, emission, and manufacturing standards. You´ll work closely with hardware designers, production teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure each layout is optimized for reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB layouts using industry-standard tools to meet critical design and signal integrity constraints.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in PCB design.
• Collaborate with hardware designers to transition schematics into efficient and reliable PCB designs.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure layouts are manufacturable and cost-efficient.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing designs, identifying opportunities for refinement and optimization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools, preferably Mentor Graphics.
• Strong understanding of RF emissions, isolation distances, and electronic standards.
• Experience working with or alongside production teams to align designs with manufacturing processes.
• An eye for detail and a commitment to creating high-quality designs.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Swedish is beneficial.
