In search of a Health & Safety Environment and Quality Coordinator for Dongjin.

Job Summary

In the role of Health & Safety Environment and Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading safety activities in line with our global goals and legal requirements. You will be working on conducting observations in the operation, assessing risks, reviewing operators' outcomes, and training and motivating staff to ensure quality.

You will also work closely with the HSEQ manager and other department heads in the company to finalize quality and safety plans and report risks.

We are committed to continuous improvement, and in your role, you will both participate in and lead improvement projects and development work. The position covers a wide range of responsibilities, including ensuring that work within the area of responsibility is conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Requirements and Experience

As an individual, you are thorough, communicative, and motivated. You demonstrate a proactive approach to work, possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, cultivate long-term relationships, and make decisions based on complex information.

We also believe that you have an eye for detail and an approachable demeanour.

Qualifications

• Work experience in industrial operations
• Worked in a similar role within occupational health and safety as a safety representative, HSE, or equivalent.
• Technical interest.
• Good in spoken and written English.
• Post-secondary education in the field of occupational health and safety; applications from recent graduates are also welcome.

Meritorious

• Knowledge of LEAN, continuous improvement and 5S
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
